SRINAGAR: ADGP Armed J&K, Syed Javid Mujtaba Gillani issued the promotion orders of 750 Constables of J&K Armed Police to the rank of Selection Grade Constables.
The promotion orders of the Constables to the rank of Selection Grade Constables have been issued after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its Chairman assessed the cases of eligible Constables as per their seniority and found them fit for promotion to their next rank in light of the relevant promotion norms.
It is pertinent to mention herethat during the current year till date 1573 Police Personnel of different ranks have been promoted to their nextranks including promotion of 29 ASIs as SIs, 170 HCs asASIs, 524SgCTsas HCs and 850 CTs as SgCTs.
