ADG CRPF asks troops to remain proactive, disciplined

JAMMU: On the 35th Raising Day of 76 Battalion CRPF, while honoring the families of the martyrs, Chief Guest of the occasion, V.S.K Kaumudi ADG J&K Zone CRPF remembered the valour and courage of the personnel and urged the troops to remain proactive and disciplined while doing their job. It is known that 76 Bn CRPF has displayed exemplary courage during terrorism in Punjab. This battalion, having history full of courage and valour, has performed outstandingly during its deployment in Jammu & Kashmir. In the organised event, the artists of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages presented their beautiful presentations on the stage. Also, the colorful presentations by CRPF personnel made the evening outstanding.
The event turned immersed with patriotism when Smita Kaumudi, Head RCWA CRPF J&K Zone honoured wife and daughter of Shaheed Mohammed Gulfam whereas son and uncle of Shaheed Heera Lal were honoured by VSK Kaumudi IPS ADG J&K Zone CRPF. It is worth mentioning that these bravehearts had sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation during terrorism in Punjab.
On the occasion, the newly constructed accommodation for jawans and other infrastructural facilities were inaugurated by VSK Kaumudi IPS ADG J&K Zone CRPF. Kaumudi reiterated his emphasis on providing basic facilities to the troops.
K Vijay Kumar IG CRPF J&K Zone, AV Chauhan IG CRPF Jammu Sector, SLC Khup DIG CRPF Range Hiranagar, Nitu DIG CRPF Jammu Range, Vasudev, Dy. FA, CRPF, J&K Zone, other officers and personnel of CRPF were present during the event. Arvind Kumar Aman, Addl. Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages also graced the occasion. The entire celebrations were organised under close supervision of Neeraj Kumar Pandey Commandant 76 Bn CRPF.
