UDHAMPUR: To review the physical progress of relief to the victims of flash floods and landslides occurred in the district, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Vikas Sharma convened a meeting of all Tehsildars in his office chamber on Tuesday.
During the meeting threadbare discussions were held on the various issues which include sanction of PM and CM Packages, distribution of ration, disbursement of pending compensation cases, provision of rent etc.
ADC reviewed Tehsil wise status of relief distribution and progress made in this regard. He directed Tehsildar Ramnagar to verify all rent cases under relief by visiting at the field to access real ground situation so that early disposal of rent may be made in favour of the beneficiaries. He stressed upon them that no genuine and deserving affected beneficiary be left without rent provision.
Later, he reviewed Tehsil wise crop damage status damaged due to heavy rainfall. He directed them for early and proper distribution of ration among the flash floods and landslides victims.
