Accidents claim three lives, 20 injured

RAMBAN: Three persons were killed whereas 20 other got injured in two various road accidents in ramban and Nowshera on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the local matador bearing registration No. JK-19-2431was on its way from Banihal to Ramban when the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting in its turning turtle. Out of 16 injured nine were shifted to District Hospital (DH) Ramban while four were shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ramsoo whereas other three were discharge after given first aid treatment.
The deceased identified as Ajaib Singh of Senabati in Banihal. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile two persons were killed and four others injured when a Swift car bearing registration No JK02BJ-3220 rammed into a tree and fell into a deep gorge on Jammu – Poonch National Highway at Narian.
Driver of the car identified as Abid Hussain son of Nizam-Ud-Din Shah resident of Thannamandi, died on the spot while other five injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera. Three critically injured persons identified as Muzaffar Husain son of Nizam Din, Nizam Din Shah son of Ashim Shah and Rasool Fatima wife of Nizam Din Shah whose condition was serious, were evacuated to government Medical College Hospital Jammu. One Muzaffar Hussain son of Nizam Din succumbed to injuries enroute and was brought back to Nowshera.
Barkat Begum wife of Muzaffar Hussain and Hina Gilani daughter of Shah Niwaz were under treatment in SDH Nowshera. Bodies of the deceased have been handed over to the family members after completing legal formalities.
The Nowshera police have registered the case for investigation.
