JAMMU: Judicial Magistrate Munsiff Jammu Suheel Singh on Friday granted interim bail to Pooja, daughter of K Rajendra, Director General of Police, who was arrested yesterday by the Pacca Danga Police Station for negligent driving as a morning-walker died after being hit by the car she was driving in the wee hours. FIR No 174/2014 under section 304-A/279 has been lodged and investigations started.
While granting interim bail to Pooja, the Judge directed her to furnish bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 20,000 each and directed police to release her from the custody with the condition that she will appear before the Investigating Officer every day for two hours and fixed 29th September, 2014 as next date of hearing.
