MENDHAR: Police on Wednesday arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the last 16 years.
As per the details, Mendhar police arrested an absconder namely Mohd Irshad son of Tufail Hussain resident of Banola Mendhar wanted in case vide FIR No 158/2000 under section 307,452,147,148 RPC.
Police team led by Insp Daleep Singh SHO Police Station Mendhar with Dist Special Branch under the supervision of Shahid Nahiem SDPO Mendhar and under overall supervision of Sr Supdt of police Poonch J S Johar made the arrest. Mendhar police disposed off five cases under section 512 Crpc where accused were evading arrests.
