JAMMU: Abhishek Singh of Jammu and Kashmir bagged Bronze medal in the just held Under-17 Free Style National Wrestling Championship at Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand.
Abhishek contested in 92 kg weight category event and lost in the semifinals. Earlier, he qualified for the semifinals beating his opponents in well contested bouts, a handout issued by the Wrestling Association of J&K said.
The 15-member J&K team was accompanied by Vireshwar Bhardwaj as coach.
Meanwhile, president of the Association, Basudev Sharma congratulated Abhishek for the achievement.
