SRINAGAR: Anantnag Police on Sunday recovered an abducted woman and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
Police Station Srigufwara received a written complaint by one person (name withheld ) that his wife was kidnapped by one Zahid Nazir Bhat, son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat, resident of K-Kalan Anantnag.
On this information, Police station Srigufwara lodged a report and started investigation.
During the investigation, Anantnag police recovered the woman and arrested the accused.
After completion of legal formalities, the woman was handed
over to her family members.
A case FIR No. 12/2017 under Section 366
RPC was registered against the abductor and further investigation is going on.
