CHANDIGARH: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today took strong exception to the AAP government’s non-cooperative stance on recruitments under the Agnipath scheme and depriving the youth of the state of its benefits.

He said Punjab has always been on the forefront to serve in the Army because of the zeal and vigour of the Punjabi youth and it was shocking to know that the AAP government has deliberately decided to scuttle the Centre’s scheme.

It would not only deprive the Punjab youth of getting employment under the Agnipath scheme but would also spread frustration among them.

Chugh said the deliberate non-cooperation by the Bhagwant Singh Mann government would also expose the fake and deceptive propaganda of the AAP government to provide employment to the Punjab youth and it would amount to grave treachery with the youth in the state.
