JAMMU: “Teamwork is the secret that makes common people achieve uncommon results”.
With this impactful statement, Anuj from Grade XII Medical stream conducted the morning assembly alongwith his classmates on the topic “Team work” at JKPS Kunjwani. Creating the momentum, Sonaa Mahajan pitched in by saying, “Teamwork is not just about working together. It is about sharing ideas and combining strengths to reach a common goal. It is not just about dividing and getting task done; it is about achieving something greater than any one person could do alone. Team work teaches us responsibility. When you are part of a team, you are not just responsible for your own tasks, but you are responsible for the whole group”.
Adding more substance to the transaction on the stage, Manya stated, “A problem that seems impossible to solve on your own might become easy to deal with when you share it with others. It teaches us humility, because we learn to listen. It is rightfully said, ‘Team work is dream work’. But, honestly teamwork is not always easy, there are moments when we don’t get along with everyone. May be a person slack off or someone tries to take control of everything?”
Passing the baton further, Janesha stated, “Always remember success is never just about one person. Today, let us remind ourselves that no one wins a war alone, no one builds a great future along; even birds fly in a V-formation to reduce air resistance. Let us walk together, work together, and win together, because when we move as one we move mountains”.Under the segment Quotations, Prabhgun quoted Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress and working together is success”. Namandeep referred to Napolean Hill, “You can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed”. Jasmeh referred to an African Proverb, “If you want to go fast go alone; If you want to go far go together”.
Rhythm narrated a poem, which found resonance in every heart:
Alone we dream, together we do, With many hands, We carry through. Each voice a thread in harmony’s song, Together we’re steady, together we’re strong. Not one but all, we share the climb- Step by step, in perfect time. For when we link both heart n hand, Even mountains turn to sand. Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded all the presenters for stealing the show and stated, “Teamwork is the art of working together, of aligning our strengths, complementing each other’s efforts, and rising above ‘me’ to embrace ‘we’. Just as a single note doesn’t create a melody, a single person alone cannot build something extraordinary”.
“True teamwork teaches us humility, cooperation, and the joy of shared success. It teaches us that we are stronger when we lift others, and wiser when we listen and learn from one another. Let us pledge today to be better team players to collaborate, communicate, and contribute, for when we stand together, no goal is too distant, and no dream too big. Always remember: a trained team of pygmies can baffle a giant, he summed up.
