JAMMU/SRINAGAR: A woman among three persons were killed while three others got injured in road accidents on Tuesday.
As per details, a vehicle skidded off road due to slippery conditions following fresh snowfall and fell into a Nallah near Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Potusha, Kupwara on Tuesday morning as a result of which a woman, identified as Zoona Begum, died on spot while three others got injured. The injured, identified as Naseer Ahmed, his wife Zamial Begum and Shabina Akhter, were immediately taken to hospital.
After completing all legal and medical formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
Meanwhile, Mudassir Hussain, son of Adbul, resident of Gandoh, Doda who was riding on bike, got hit by a load carrier near Kattal Gujra area, due to which he died on spot.
A car fell into a gorge in Chenani area, due to which the result driver died on the spot. He was identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Bargat Ali, resident of Chenani.
