Bhalla appeals for peoples’ cooperation in flood damage restoration

JAMMU: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Minister for Housing, Raman Bhalla on Monday visited various Eidgahs of his constituency included Malik Market in Narwal, Karayani Talab, Macca Masjid in Bathindi and Digiana and exchanged Eid-ul Azha greetings with Muslim brethren.
Interacting with the Muslim brethren, Bhalla said that this joyous occasion would be a harbinger of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmark of the State’s glorious pluralistic behaviour. He appealed the people to help the government in restoring damages caused due to flash floods at across the State.
He asserted that Eid-ul-Azha reminds us of our responsibility towards poor and needy and inculcates the spirit of sharing happiness and joy with everyone. He maintained that Islam teaches peace, brotherhood, amity and love besides tolerance and patience.
Bhalla stated Eid is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the teachings of Islam and preachings of Prophet Muhammad
