RAJOURI: Govt. Degree College Rajouri in collaboration with Distt. Health Society Rajouri organised a blood donation camp in the campus. On the occasion Jatindra Kumar Singh, Distt. Dev. Commissioner Rajouri was the Chief Guest and Dr. Javaid Ahmed Qazi Principal of the College presided over the function.
A large gathering including NSS and NCC volunteers, college students, staff members and guests were present on the occasion. Prof. H. S Ishar, Staff Secretary presented the welcome address. Dr. Mehmood Hussain Bajar, Superintendent of Distt. Hospital Rajouri presented a power point presentation regarding blood donation. Volunteers from staff and students of the College donated blood after the presentation. NSS Programme Officers Prof. Abdul Karim and Dr. Nahim-Un-Nisa also donated blood in this blood donation camp.
Distt. Development Commissioner Rajouri appreciated the joint efforts of District Hospital Rajouri and Govt. Degree College Rajouri in creating awareness among the students about the blood donation.
Dr. J. A Qazi Principal of the College congratulated all volunteers and staff members who donated blood. Others who spoke on the occasion include Dr. M. K Waqar Vice Principal, Prof. Mohd Iqbal Raina, Sadiq Khan and Prof. Abdul Karim, NSS Programme Officer of the College.
