BUDHAL: Samote Club outplayed Budhal by 3-1 in the final and lifted the trophy of volleyball tournament which concluded on Saturday at Budhal in district Rajouri.
In the tournament a total of eight teams of the far flung areas participated.
in the closing ceremony, BJP leader and social activist, Manzoor Ahmed Naik was the Chief Guest, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers.
He said that such tournaments provide youth an opportunity to participate in sports activities and help them in enhancing their mental and physical ability.
Naik stressed on the fact that the youth of the area are extremely talented and have the potential to bring laurels not only to their town but also to the country.
The event culminated with the prize distribution, in which winner and runner-up team were presented with cash prizes along with mementoes by the chief guest.
