Police donates Rs.1.35 lakh for flood victims

DODA: In an effort to help the flood victims in the State, the District Police Doda on Monday handed over a cheque amounting to Rs. 1.35 lakh, favouring District Red Cross Society Doda. The Cheque was handed over by Senior Superintendent of Police Doda M.S Chouhan to Chairman District Red Cross Society (Deputy Commissioner) Doda Shyam Vinod Meena in presence of DSP Hqtrs Mushtaq Sheikh, DSP DAR Kuldeep Handa and other civil and police officers.
DDC while speaking on the occasion informed the officers that the amount will be provided to State Red Cross Society as a financial help. He thanked District Police Doda for their generous help and efforts, besides he appealed to all the departments to donate generously for the noble cause and follow the example set by District Police Doda.
