SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Power, Vikar Rasool Wani on Sunday called upon Power Development Department functionaries to ensure complete restoration of power infrastructure in flood affected areas of the Valley well in time. He also directed CAPD authorities for distribution of free ration to the affected consumers in all areas without any discrimination.
The minister visited several vicinity areas of Srinagar included Shaat Mohalla Shalimar and Darbagh Harwan and took stock of loss of property and public utilities.
During the tour several deputations met the minister and put forth their demands especially restoration of power supply, drinking water and repairs of link roads.
