GOOL: As part of Police Flag Day celebrations, on the directions SSP Ramban Haseeb Ur Rahman, Gool Police organised a debate competition on the theme ‘The Role of Police in Nation Building/National Security’ in GDC Gool, in which students from GDC Gool took part and deliberated on the topic with full enthusiasm.
The speakers highlighted the role of police for rendering best community services especially in curbing the social crime from the society and in maintaining Law & Order.
The function was presided over by the Principal Govt. Degree College Gool, Dr T K Sharma while as the SDPO Gool was the Chief Guest of the function. Asstt Prof Jitender Lal and Dr Rouf Ahmed Bhat of GDC Gool officiated as Jury members who after patiently hearing to the speakers, adjudged and declared Shagufta student of 3rd semester, Aijaz Ahmed Najar student of 3rd semester and Saira Anjaum student of 3rd semester as 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders respectively. Principal GDC Gool and SDPO Gool distributed the trophies/ certificates among the participants.
SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar while interacting with participants highlighted the deeds of the martyrs and the service of police in protecting the life and property as well as sovereignty and integrity of the country.
