KATHUA: Lakhanpur Zone won under- 14 yrs boys Kabaddi final in the Inter-Zonal District Level Competition being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Kathua in the disciplines of AAG of boys in Kabaddi and girls in Volleyball at venue Sports Stadium Kathua.
The Chief Guest, Om Parkash, District Development Commissioner Kathua along with Sunil Kumar DYSSO Kathua, all ZPEOs of 12 Zones, Activities Incharge Joginder Kumar and Nasib Chand, PEM Mohan Lal Dubb, PEM Dharminder Singh Shally and Field Staff present in the opening ceremony.
A total of 115 boys, under-14 yrs boys of Kabaddi of 12 zones participated today with full of energy and enthusiasm.
Result: Pool A: Barnoti beat Basohli by 21 points. Pool B: Lakhanpur beat Marheen by six points. Final: Lakhanpur outplayed Barnoti by 13 points.
Today’s matches were officiated by Kiran Salathia, Punjab Singh, Sukh Ram, Omkar Singh, Naresh Kumar, Omkar Nath and Dharminder Singh.
