SAMBA: Department of Animal Husbandry (AHD), Samba on Wednesday organised a free treatment cum infertility camp here at village Gurha Salathia, Block Vijaypur.
Around 44 cattle heads suffering from various ailments/disease conditions and infertility problems were given treatment on the spot. Besides this, the farmers were also provided medicines such as Dewormers, mineral supplements and other supportive drugs. The farmers were also made aware about dos and don’ts for various diseases and were acquainted with the advantages of healthy rearing of the livestock with special emphasis on maintenance of hygiene. They were told that clean surroundings are imperative to keep the diseases at bay. Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Samba Dr. D.B Singh, Dr. Rajnish Kumar, Dr. Naveen Kumar, Dr, Rakesh Kumar, Sarpanchs, Panchs were also present during the camp.
