JAMMU: The young side of City Football Club emerged Poonch champion of the J&K Sports Council Premier League that concluded at Sports Stadium, Poonch recently.
The City Club remained unbeaten in the six team league contest that too without conceding any goal. Shoket Hussain was appreciated by the organising committee for his super play as guard at the net.
The Results: City Club beat Surankote FC 1-0; Khalsa FC 9-0; Jhulas FC 2-0; Purani Poonch 1-0 and Chandak FC 6-0.
Now, City Club shall represent Poonch in the upcoming Divisional level league to be held at Jammu.
