RAMBAN: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion located at Gool, under Uniform Force organised a medical camp at Gool, Ramban District on Thursday as part of extending the healing touch for the flood affected people of the area.
The camp was conducted for the adjoining villages and interior areas which severely suffered due to heavy rains creating large scale landslides and remaining cut off from any medical and supplies assistance. The camp treated over 493 patients of Mawal Kot, Dawah, Sangaldhan villages and areas around it. In addition to the medicines, necessary rations were also given. The camp benefited the villagers who were unable to get treatment due to break down of medical facilities in the vicinity.
The locals including elders and women thanked the men in olive green especially for providing rations and blankets alongwith the medicines and prayed that such an unfortunate natural calamity should never happen again.
