JAMMU: A delegation of BJP Mahila Morcha hailing from Narania Mohalla of Ward Number 9 met State Vice President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma and apprised him of the basic requirements of public in the area.
Sharma immediately called upon Executive Engineer Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Paramjit Singh and directed him to start developmental works to be taken up in the area.
Sat said that the condition of many lanes and drains in the area is not so good and moreover there is also the problem of unavailability of proper hygiene in the area.
Sharma directed the JMC officials to take over the works of Narania Mohalla on priority and start the works for construction of new lanes and drains including upgradation of the same in the area.
He also stressed upon installation of street lights in the area and small dustbins in every corner of the streets of Narania Mohalla.
He also appreciated the working of JMC and said that municipality is also trying its level best to provide basic amenities to the people and the officials of the department are reaching to every door step in order to cope up with the hardships faced by the people.
A tour was also conducted in the area in order to check the problems faced by the people where XEn JMC jotted down the developmental works to be taken up in the area.
State General Secretary Mahila Morcha BJP Sangeeta Dogra, Ashi Gupta, Kamni Gupta, Avinash Kour, Radha Sharma, Kamlesh Gupta, Jyoti Bhatt, Kanta Uppal, Arti Gupta and others met the MLA and apprised him of the problems of the area.
