DIET book fair under RMSA concludes

DODA: A two day Book Fair organised by the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Doda under RMSA in town Hall Doda concluded on Wednesday. The fair was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar in presence of Chief Education Officer Doda Ajeet Kumar Sharma.
Book sellers and publishers from Jammu province participated in the fair and displayed their books on different subjects covering religious books, sports books, Science books, Biographies, etc.
Students from different schools of the District along with their teachers visited the book fair, besides book-lovers and intellectuals of the District also attended the fair.
While speaking over the concluding ceremony of the Book Fair, the DDC appreciated the faculty of DIET Doda for organising this event. He enjoined upon DIET Doda to organize such book fairs in future also to develop book reading habit among young generation particularly the teen age group.
CEO Doda Ajeet Kumar Sharma also spoke on the occasion and advised the students to make book reading a habit in their daily life. He also instructed teachers to encourage and develop reading habits among the students besides the school syllabus books.
Earlier, Principal DIET K.L Parihar welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and highlighted the importance of Book Fair under RMSA. He stressed upon the students to develop reading habit apart from their school curriculum books.
Meanwhile, a one day district level Book Fair under RMSA was also organised by DIET Reasi and was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Reasi-Sushma Chauhan.
