JAMMU: To pick up state team for the upcoming national event, Jammu and Kashmir Gatka Association on Sunday conducted selection trials in ‘stick fight’ event at Ranjit College of Education, here.
The team was shortlisted for the national championship to be held at Jalandhar in Punjab in the first week of June. The selection process was joined by the Association office bearers and other senior members.
“A final team will be in place in a couple of days in both men and women section. A brief camp shall be organised for the selected probable,” informed general secretary of the Association, Ravinder Singh.
