POUNICHACK: Department of Agriculture, Sub Division Marh, zone Pounichak organised a farmers awareness camp at village Khanpur Panchayat Pounichak under the direction of AEO Sanjeev Mishra.
The camp was jointly conducted by JAEO Pounichak Arun Jaral and VAEA Ragini Sharma, Seema Sharma, ReZ Mohita Sharma.
Detailed lecture on schemes like NFSM, NMSA, RKVY mission for integrated development of horticulture, NMOOP, soil sampling were delivered and the farming community was asked to diversify farming by way of adopting bee keeping, mushroom cultivation, marigold plantation. Stress was laid on line transplanting in paddy.
Mohita Sharma also gave lecture on the method of storage of grains. Ragini Sharma gave lecture on KCC to the farmers and asked them to avail benefits of the same.
Panch Jograj Singh and progressive farmer Yashraj Salaria were also present in the camp.
