JAMMU: Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) staged a protest over the statement of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for shelving the artificial lake project in Jammu and shifting of AIIMS to Srinangar.
The state President of the party Vikrant Kapoor said artificial lake is a prestigious project for Jammu people as well as it will be one of the most attractive spot for the tourists.
Such type of statements of Coalition Government, he said, are total discrimination with Jammu people. Project has already been approved and more than Rs 60 crore has been spent in this project, he said. He also criticized BJP for adopting silence over both the issues.
He warned the government to complete projects of artificial lake, Mubarak Mandi-Bahufort Rope Way, Mubarak Mandi Place, Buddhists heritage site at Ambran temple complex at Purmandal, Gharna Wetland at RS Pura and Gandola at Patnitop.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Vinay Gupta, Rohit Singh Bhan, Dinesh Mahajan, Vishal Sharma, Rohit Gupta, Vishal Kohli, Ganesh Chowdhary and Rohit Sharma.
