Police foils NSUI rally against Govt, detains activists

JAMMU: Members of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) including Ajay Kumar National Delegate NSUI and Prakash Singh Dadwal District President NSUI Unit Kishtwar were detained by Police to stop them for holding protest rally against Mufti Government for revocation of anti-youth recruitment policy in Kishtwar.
After receiving information that NSUI activists are planning to organise a protest rally, a police team led by SHO Kishtwar reached the spot near Dak Banglow Kishtwar and detained the NSUI activists. Later, the activists were released.
Neeraj Kundan State President NSUI J and K while condemning the incidence said that democracy is at its low under the present coalition government. “Fearing exposure, the government is acting in an authoritarian manner”, he added.
He said that NSUI shall continue with its cause of exposing the anti-people policies of incumbent regime.
Kundan asked BJP MLAs to clear their stand on new job policy. He categorically slammed the government for suppressing the voice of people by adopting dictatorial attitude.
