Around ten lakh people screened in health camps
New Delhi:- Around ten lakh people were screened in more than 500 free health camps organized in hundred cities across India as a part of the ‘SWASTHA BHARAT’ initiative Led by OXXY, a healthcare network.
“The organization decided to conduct these mega 500 plus camps in India for the benefit of the society. We believe in equality and being healthy is a right for all. This is just a try to give back to the society of what we and our ancestors earned since long,” founder of OXXY, Pankaj Gupta said.
These tests that were performed in these camps are a combination of blood sugar, TSH, BP, ECG, pulmonary function, cholesterol, diagnostics, dental, eye, skin, hair, fitness, stress relief etc. All the tests were carried out free of cost on May 10.
Oxxy recently has tied up with radio taxi company Uber to provide free pick-and-drop facility to all the hospitals, diagnostic and pathological laboratories in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Kochi.
Series of social welfare activities are being organized by OXXY and this one in support with police and administration under the platform “SWASTHA BHARAT”
