VIJAYPUR: Congress Party on Sunday held a protest against the new recruitment policy here at Vijaypur.
Led by Sr. Cong. leader Arun Sharma, a large number of workers of the party assembled at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur and held a protest against the new recruitment policy made by the BJP-PDP Coalition Govt. under the Chief Ministership of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed.
The youths of Vijaypur Constituency strongly opposed the new recruitment policy and showed their resentment. The participants also raised slogans for shifting the AIIMS from Jammu. The Congress workers warned the Coalition Government that if the AIIMS is not shifted back immediately then they will launch an agitation in large scale.
Arun Sharma while addressing the protesters said that the Coalition Government has failed in all fields and not working on the Common Minimum Programme.
He further said that the BJP leaders sat in the lap of PDP leadership and surrendered themselves completely for the sake of chair.
Arun Sharma further told that Govt. has not provided compensation to the farmers till date and on the other hands the same has been provided to the affected people of Kashmir region.
