JAMMU: Jammu West Assembly Movement on Friday staged a demonstration against the steep hike in the petrol and diesel prices.
Led by President, JWAM, Sunil Dimple, the activists assembled in New Plot area of Jammu city and raised slogans against the Union Government.
Dimple demanded that NDA Government should exempt sales tax and VAT on the sale of petrol and diesel prices so that the promise of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi of ‘Achhey Din’ can become reality.
Other who joined the protest include Randhir Singh Bali, Dev Raj, Sonu Kapai, Kulwant Sharma, Dass Ram, Devraj, Vipan, Mukesh, Rakesh, Ishar Dass, Hans Raj, Rajinder Gandotra, Sanjay Sethi, Joginder Kumar and Brahma Datt Sharma.
