MENDHAR : The Mendhar Police on Wednesday arrested two notorious thieves who committed seven thefts during the intervening night of 4/5th September, the fateful day of the natural calamity when Mendhar town was disconnected with rest of the world due to washing away of two bridges on its either sides.
These thieves identified as Mohd Zubair son of Khadim Hussain and Sheraz Ahmad son of Mohd Zaman both residents of Chunga, Tehsil Mendhar broke open the shutters/doors of seven shops and decamped with the cash and other costly items. On the basis of complaints, the police had been working on the case and finally nabbed both the thieves. The police have also affected recoveries.
People of the area have appreciated the efforts of Mendhar Police.
