Pride or shame
Common man or Aam Admi in Pakistan created history in the feudal nation by stopping former Interior Minister Rehman Malik from boarding the plane, accusing him of causing over two hours delay. The shamed former minister made a quick retreat on seeing the tempers of passengers and the PIA was forced to go public saying, “it does not promote VIP culture”.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the so-called intelligentsia of Jammu and Kashmir to tolerate tantrums of the ministers, bureaucrats and political leaders, who consider it their birthright to cause enormous disruption in traffic on already maddening roads during their ‘royal’ cavalcade movements in cities, towns and countryside?
