KATHUA: On the request of DDC Kathua Dr Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary and GM DIC Amarjeet Singh, the Kathua Industrial Units Association on Tuesday dispatched relief material comprising tents, blankets and utensils for the affected families of District Rajouri who have been rendered homeless after recent incessant rains and floods.
The vehicle carrying relief material was flagged off by Ajit Bawa, President Kathua Industrial Units Association and Amarjeet Singh General Manager, District Industries Centre Kathua.
While speaking on the occasion Ajit Bawa said that the state of Jammu and Kashmir is passing through testing times and assured wholehearted support and help to the victims of this natural calamity.
The relief material shall be handed over to the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri for further distribution among flood victims.
