SRINAGAR: Real Leathers Elites, Tailbal Tigers and Go Amir Elites won their respective matches on the opening day of the Volleyball event in the ongoing J&K Sports Council (JKSC) Premier League at Mini Indoor Stadium Pologround, here on Thursday.
In the first match of the day, Real Leathers Elites beat Dhara Warriors by 3-1 (26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21) while Tailbal Tigers outplayed M I Lasjan Lions in second match by 3-2 (25-23, 18-25,15-25, 25-18, 15-8) and third match was won by Go Amir Elites by defeating MKM Balhama Blasters by 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 27-25).
HOCKEY: In hockey two matches were played today at Gindun Sports Complex Rajbagh Srinagar. In the first match, Mahindra Hockey Club defeated Balhama Hockey Club by eight goals to nil while another match, Badal Hockey Club outplayed Friends Hockey Club by three goals to nil.
FOOTBALL: At Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar two matches were played.
In the first match Lonestar FC beat Real Kashmir FC by five goals to three while match between Hyderya FC and Food & Supplies Football team ended at goalless draw.
The Premier League is being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with respective sports associations.
