POONCH : With the opening of Chakan-da-Bagh crossing on Monday, 115 visitors crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch Sector.
Those who went to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) after completing their visit in India, include 61 visitors who had crossed over to this side from Chakan-da-Bagh and four visitors who had entered from Uri in the Valley. Those who came in from PoK include 35 PoK visitors who came to meet their relatives on this side and 15 Indians who returned after completing their visit.
The gates were opened from 4:15 to 4:35 PM. The crossing was supervised by Custodian Bashir Ahmed Lone and Dy SP S S Salathia from Indian side and SDM Hajira Aslam Qayani from PoK side.
