UDHAMPUR: Lions Club Udhampur (Aastha) organised an impressive installation ceremony on Monday here in Udhampur. On this occasion Governor P.S Chawla has formed new body to carry on the club activities.
Governor Lion Parmjeet Singh Chawla (MJF) was the Chief Guest on the installation ceremony wherein Governor installed D.D Sharma as new District President of Lions Club Udhampur, Ashok Sachdeva –Secy, Rajesh Gupta -PRO while Arun Ghandotra as Treasurer of the year 2014-15.
Newly elected team of Lion’s Club Udhampur headed by D.D Sharma pledged before the members to work with dedication and devotion for the welfare of society and to keep high the traditions of the club up in pretext of noble cause and at the time of any crises also. He extended deepest gratitude towards all Lions who gave him an opportunity to serve and also expressed gratitude towards governor for spearing his valuable time to install new team. Sharma assured the governor and dedicated members of club to serve the people honestly and sincerely at his behest.
