Indian Air Force Halted Rescue Operation for a While
Srinagar: Indian Air Force today halted the rescue operation for a while as rain lashes valley again from morning. While confirming this news army top officials said that we are waiting for improvement in weather conditions after that we will launch rescue operation again on war footing basis.
Meanwhile top officials said that as per the figures available with the state government so far, 129 people had lost lives in Jammu region whereas 30-35 people were found dead in Kashmir valley, due to heavy rains since last week. They also added that more than 2 lacks are still stranded in flooded areas.
According to the reports now the water level is rising towards north Kashmir as famous Jehlum river is passing through Sopore and Baramullah towns
