JAMMU: Shaheen Football Club and Vijay Football Club won matches in the ongoing 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament being organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association at GGM Science College Football Ground, here on Monday.
The first match was played between Shaheen FC and Param FC wherein Shaheen FC won the match by 1-0 goal wherein Rishi Shastri scored a lone goal.
Second Match of the tournament was won by Vijay Club by defeating City FC by 10-9 via penalty shootout.
Today’s matches were officiated by technical panel including Shivam Kumar, Mohit, Ajay Lakha and Ramesh.
Narinder Gupta, Yusaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih, Moon Stephen, Sam Paul, Raju Sotra, Mohinder Kalsi, Bunty, Rajesh Sumbria, Bansi Lal, Satpal Singh (Football Coach) were also present during the event.
