CEO inspects various schools

KATHUA: The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kathua, T.R Mangotra visited/inspected various schools falling in Kathua Zone on Friday.
During the visit, the CEO inspected Govt. Middle School Chack Desa Singh, wherein it was found that total enrolment of the school were 95, out of which 51 were present. Against the sanctioned strength of nine posts, all were filled up and only five teachers were present and other four on casual leave.
The Mid Day Meal was also checked and found that MDM was prepared and served to the students as per the menu. The daily consumption register of MDM was also properly maintained. The overall sanitary condition of the school was good. The Chief Education Officer, Kathua also checked the academic side of the students which was also found good.
Further, Chief Education Officer, visited UPS Badala, wherein it was found that total enrolment of the school was 61 and all were present. All the sanctioned posts were filled up and all present.The Mid Day Meal was also checked and felt satisfaction over the implementation of scheme.
CEO also visited PS Kuka Chack, Middle School Chak Drab Khan(Upper), NPS Migrant Basti Chak Drab Khan, Middle School Chak Gadadhar ,MS Sherpur, GPS Sherpur NPS Chak Nanak, Middle School Changran, Zone Kathua and found that the attendance of students was very poor due to the prevailing situation of heavy rains/flash floods . He issued instructions to the In-Charge Head Teachers/teachers to ensure maximum attendance of the students in the school. The Chief Education Officer, Kathua issued directions to ensure the basic facilities to students in the school.
