77th Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervour at District Court Complex, Reasi

REASI: As per the directions of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm at the District Court Complex, Reasi, on January 26, 2026. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Khalil Choudhary, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of the day.

The programme was attended by Geeta Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Reasi; Pooja Gupta, Secretary, DLSA Reasi; Mehajbeen Akhter, Chairperson, JJB Reasi; Shivali Sharma, Munsiff Reasi; Aastha Sharma, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi; Prosecuting Officers of District Court Reasi; Pawandev Singh, President, Bar Association Reasi along with its members; Chief LADC along with Deputy and Assistant LADCs and their staff; staff members of District Court Reasi and District Legal Services Authority Reasi; Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA Reasi; ex-servicemen; teachers and students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi and Government Boys Higher Secondary School Reasi; and esteemed guests from various departments of District Reasi.

A series of cultural activities, including patriotic songs and dances, were presented by students, advocates, and PLVs, adding colour and spirit to the celebrations.

A felicitation ceremony was also organised, during which the Principal District & Sessions Judge Reasi, along with the Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi and the Secretary, DLSA Reasi, distributed trophies and certificates to participants and contributors, acknowledging their active cooperation in making the celebration a success.

At the conclusion of the programme, a vote of thanks was presented by Pooja Gupta, Secretary, DLSA Reasi, to the Principal District & Sessions Judge Reasi, CJM Reasi, Chairperson JJB Reasi, Munsiff Reasi, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi, President and members of the Bar Association Reasi, Prosecuting Officers, LADC team, staff members, PLVs, teachers and students, and representatives of the Police Department, Municipal Council Reasi, J&K Bank Reasi, PNB Reasi, Floriculture Department Reasi, PDD Reasi, PWD Reasi, Information Department Reasi, CRPF, and Salal Power Station.
