JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates 77th Republic Day with patriotic zeal, inspiring Inter-House Tableaux

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great feelings, patriotic fervour and cultural splendour. The school campus echoed with national pride as students, teachers, management members and distinguished guests came together to commemorate the ideals of the Indian Constitution.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, formally inaugurating the Republic Day celebrations.
The occasion was graced by the august presence of the Chief Guest, Mohd. Faisal Qureshi, SSP (Crime) Jammu, whose distinguished presence added dignity and significance to the event.
The celebration was further honoured by the presence of eminent dignitaries and members of the school management including Raj Daluja, Chairman, JK Educational Society; Shashi Chaudhary, Director, JK Educational Society; and Members of the Management Sidharth Daluja, Sara Daluja and Gautam Daluja, whose presence encouraged and motivated the young learners.
A major highlight of the programme was the Inter-House Marching Tableau competition, which showcased students’ creativity, discipline and deep sense of national consciousness. The tableaux reflected powerful themes aligned with India’s values and future aspirations:
Tilak House presented tableau on the theme “Spirited Strength and National Character”. Tagore House, highlighted the theme “Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s India”. Whereas, Bhagat Singh House brought forth several aspects pertaining to the given theme “Nari Shakti”. Radhakrishnan House brilliantly showcased the theme “Developed India @2047”.
The visually striking tableaux, accompanied by disciplined formations and meaningful narration, captivated the audience and beautifully conveyed the spirit of unity in diversity.
The programme was further enriched by a band performance, march past, patriotic songs and cultural dance presentations, adding vibrancy and emotional depth to the celebration.
The Chief Guest, Mohd. Faisal Qureshi was formally felicitated and in his address, he emphasized the importance of constitutional values, discipline and integrity. He urged students to grow into responsible citizens committed to serving the nation with honesty and dedication.
The results of the Inter-House Tableau Competition were announced with Tilak House securing the First Position, Bhagat Singh House achieving the Second Position and Tagore House bagging the Third Position.
Keeping in consonance with the theme of this year’s Republic Day “Vande Mataram” the soul-stirring strains of the national song resonated through the air as the Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore along with the school choir, rendered a heartfelt rendition of Vande Mataram. The powerful invocation of the motherland filled the campus with an atmosphere of reverence, pride and patriotic fervour, setting a brilliant culmination of the entire celebration.
