WR to run special train between Mumbai Central & New Delhi

MUMBAI: Western Railway has announced the operation of a special superfast train between Mumbai Central and New Delhi to cater to increased passenger demand. As per the press release issued by Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the train will run for two special trips on special fare.
Train No. 04003 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Superfast Special will depart from Mumbai Central on Monday, 8th December 2025, at 23:30 hrs, reaching New Delhi at 20:50 hrs the following day. In the reverse direction, Train No. 04004 New Delhi – Mumbai Central Superfast Special will leave New Delhi on Sunday, 7th December 2025, at 22:40 hrs and arrive at Mumbai Central at 21:00 hrs the next day. The special train will provide halts at key stations including Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, and Mathura in both directions, ensuring connectivity for passengers along the busy route. The service will consist of AC 3-Tier (Economy) coaches, offering comfortable long-distance travel. Bookings for Train No. 04003 are already open and can be made at all PRS counters or through the IRCTC website. Passengers have been advised to check the official Indian Railways enquiry portal for detailed information on timings, halts, and coach composition.
