JAMMU: The 14th Foundation Day of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust along with the prestigious Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award Ceremony will be celebrated on Thursday, 11th December at 3:00 PM at the Majestic Grand Resort, Mishriwala, Jammu. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, will grace the grand occasion as the Chief Guest.

This year, the Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award – 2025 will be conferred upon Prof. Srinivasa Varakhedi, Vice Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, in recognition of his exceptional contribution to Sanskrit education and research.
In preparation for the upcoming event, an important meeting was convened today at the residence of Jammu North MLA Sham Lal Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said the ceremony would be a milestone in promoting Sanskrit upliftment and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasized the Trust’s consistent efforts to promote Sanskrit learning and traditional knowledge systems.
Trust President and State Awardee Mahant Rohit Shastri announced that a Farmers’ Fair will also be organized as part of the celebration. The fair will showcase local agricultural products and traditional art forms of Jammu, including Kud dance, Basohli art, Pashmina shawls, along with a free medical camp, Dogra cuisine stalls, and multiple cultural exhibitions.
A community feast (Bhandara) will be held at the conclusion of the program. Scholars, saints, and Sanskrit enthusiasts from across the country are expected to participate, and the Trust has extended a warm invitation to all Sanskrit lovers.
The meeting was attended by Vinay Jamwal, Vinay Aggarwal, Bhushan Jamwal, Surinder Singh (Gilli), Ankush Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Uttam Chand Sharma, Lucky Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Rajan Sharma, Rakesh Gandotra, Pramod Sharma, Yash Seth, Rajendra Seth, Master Vijay Kumar, Babu Ram, Abhiraj Sharma, and other distinguished members of the Trust.
