JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS), Kunjwani-long admired for its commitment to holistic education-came alive with energy, expression and heartfelt learning during a remarkable morning assembly on the theme “The Power of We.” The programme was confidently conducted by Amelia of Grade VI Falcon, with an engaging opening: “Nothing brings people together faster than group panic!” When a teacher announces a surprise test, suddenly every student becomes a friend-sharing pens, exchanging glances and whispering collective prayers. That, the presenters remarked, is the real Power of We”.

Principal JK Public School Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore and students addressing morning assembly.

Aryaveer further added, “Alone you may be a superhero, but together-we become the entire Marvel movie!” And with a witty twist he shared: “When YOU forget homework, it’s a problem… but when WE forget homework, it’s a strategy!” The audience burst into laughter, but beneath the humour lay a powerful truth-unity multiplies strength.
The presenters enriched the assembly with thought-provoking quotations, each delivered uniquely:
Eerswardhan opened with his own thoughtful reflection: “The Power of We turns efforts into excellence because together we don’t just add, we multiply.”
Hargun drew inspiration from Helen Keller, reminding everyone that “Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much.”
Huzain brought forward the wisdom of an Anonymous thinker, emphasizing that “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
Arsheen echoed the powerful words of John Maxwell, stating that “Teamwork makes the dream work.”
Utkarsh highlighted the spirit of collaboration through Michael Jordan’s insight: “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
Sufyaan reminded the gathering of Mark Twain’s perspective that synergy is the bonus we earn when things work together.
Prabhjyot invoked the timeless wisdom of Henry Ford, who said, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”
Janiksha referred to Brian Brolin’s thoughtful idea that when we create synergy in the rhythms of our lives, we discover more of ourselves to invest in the time we have.
Mikail shared Stephen R. Covey’s meaningful line: “Difference is the beginning of synergy.”
Janish spotlighted Warryn Campbell’s belief in collective potential: “I believe in the power of synergy and in sharing platforms.”
Arihaan concluded with another profound thought by Stephen R. Covey, who illustrated synergy beautifully as “1 + 1 = 3.”
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded the students for presenting the theme with such clarity, humour and depth. He remarked: “The world today celebrates collaborative leaders, not lone warriors. The Power of We is not merely a slogan-it is a way of life. Whenever minds unite and hearts collaborate, excellence becomes a natural outcome. At JKPS Kunjwani, we want our children to grow with values of teamwork, empathy and shared responsibility. No challenge is too big and no dream too distant when WE move together.”
He encouraged students to carry this spirit of unity into classrooms, playgrounds and every sphere of life, reminding them that togetherness is the greatest multiplier of human potential.
