On Guru Charan Yatra, Chugh pays obeisance to sacred ‘Joda Sahib’

DELHI/AMRITSAR: Senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh on Wednesday visited Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib in Delhi and paid obeisance to the sacred relic ‘Joda Sahib’ (the divine sandals).

Expressing deep emotion after the Darshan, Chugh said, “It is my heartfelt wish that through the Guru Charan Yatra, our connection with the great ideals of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji deepens further.”
He appealed to the people across the country to witness this historic occasion and seek blessings by having Darshan of the holy Joda Sahib wherever the Yatra passes through.
Chugh described the day as deeply emotional and spiritually uplifting, saying, “There are rare moments in life when time seems to pause, and we become witnesses to a divine experience. Today is one such moment that will be remembered for generations.”
He urged the Sikh community and devotees to connect with this Guru Charan Yatra, which carries the sacred sandals of Dashmesh Pita Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Khalsa Mata Sahib Kaur Ji.
He said that this historic Yatra will begin tomorrow morning from Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib, Delhi, and travel through various cities, culminating at Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib.
Chugh said that for the past 300 years, the family of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has had the honour of serving the sacred Joda Sahib, a service that connects them with the eternal light of the Gurus that has guided generations.
Chugh also extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that in the past 11 years, PM Modi has done unprecedented work for the Sikh Punjabi community-from honouring the four Sahibzade to recognizing and supporting the significance of the Joda Sahib.
