Brahma Kumaris organises Blood Donation Drive

JAMMU: In a heartfelt tribute to Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani Ji on her 18th death anniversary, the Brahma Kumaris Organization in collaboration with Blood Transfusion Department GMC and SMGS Hospital Jammu, organized a blood donation camp at Om Shanti Meditation Centre, 248-A.
This noble initiative coincides with the 18th Smriti Divas of Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani, the former Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris, observed as World Brotherhood Day on August 25, 2025.
The camp was inaugurated by MLA Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, in the presence of in the presence of Brahma Kumari Sudarshan (I/C Brahma Kumaris J&K/Ladakh) along with a team of doctors from GMC Jammu, who provided medical assistance and ensured proper procedures during blood collection.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the importance of such noble initiatives.
“Donation of blood is the greatest gift – it is the gift of life. Participating in such campaigns is not only an act of compassion but also a way to honour the legacy of great souls like Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani Ji. I feel proud to be part of this effort, which reflects our commitment to social service and humanity,” he said.
Yudhvir Sethi stressed that small acts of service like blood donation can make a huge difference and urged citizens to regularly participate in similar social initiatives.
BK Sudarshan said that the blood donation camp is a tribute to the legacy of Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani, who embodied the principles of love, service, and unity.
B.K Ravinder, Executive member of Social Service wing Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation, RERF, said that the event aims to promote the spirit of compassion, service, and unity in society by collecting blood units for those in need.
