JKBOSE postpones Bi-annual examinations for classes 10th, 11th scheduled for tomorrow

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the bi-annual examinations for classes 10th and 11th scheduled to be held tomorrow.

As per statement, the exams fixed for August 18 stand deferred across JK UT as well as Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh. New dates will be announced separately, while centre superintendents and jurisdictional SHOs have been asked to ensure proper intimation.

The decision has been taken purely in the interest of student safety given the inclement weather and cloudburst situation in Kathua.
