JAMMU: The Government on Friday transferred six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
According to the order issued Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), by Shantmanu, IAS (AGMUT: 1991), awaiting orders of posting in GAD, has been transferred and posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Higher Education Department. Shantmanu shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Information Technology, the order reads.
Shailendra Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:1995) ,Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department shall hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Department with effect from January 1, 2025, in addition to his own duties.
Sanjeev Verma, IAS (AGMUT: 2001), Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department; M Raju, IAS (AGMUT:2005), awaiting orders of posting in the GAD, has been posted as Commissioner Secretary, GAD. He shall also hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department till further orders, reads the order.
Sheetal Nanda, IAS (AGMUT:2006) Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment.
Rehana Batul, IAS (AGMUT:2010) Secretary, Information Department has been transferred and posted as Director, Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development.
