JAMMU: “Morning assembly is the physical, mental and spiritual preparation before beginning the studies at school”. With this thought-provoking statement, Khushika Singh from Grade 3 Kaveri alongwith her classmates conducted the morning assembly on the topic “Importance of Morning Assembly at JK Public School, Kunjwani.

“Morning assemblies are an important part of our school routine. They help us to start the day with positivity and discipline. During the assembly we come together as one family to pray, share thoughts and learn important lessons”, added Aishani.
“It is a time to set our goals for the day and feel inspired to do our best. Let’s all make the most of this beautiful time every morning. At last, I would like to share a quote “Morning assembly is the seed of a productive day where discipline, unity and inspiration bloom together’, added Anhadhdeep.
With more substance pitched in Samardeep stating, “When we stand together, sing the national anthem, or recite the prayer, we are reminded that we are part of our school community where each one of us matters”.
“Moreover, the morning assembly provides a platform for showcasing talent and achievements, whether it is delivering a speech, presenting a news update, or performing a cultural program, the assembly builds our confidence, improves our communication skills, and prepares us to express ourselves in front of others”, Saanvi added.

Araina Babbar referred to Elizabeth Warren, “A good education is a foundation for a better future”.
Harjas Singh quoted Chuck Grassley, “What makes a child gifted and talented may not always be good grades in school, but a different way of looking at the world and learning”. Rityansh Singh Charak referred to Henry Ford, “Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently”. Shradheya Raj quoted Brian Herbert, “The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill, the willingness to learn is a choice”. Anhadhdeep Singh referred to Helen Keller, “Optimisn is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence”.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded the presenters for highlighting brilliantly the salient features of morning assembly. He stated, “The morning assembly is not just a ritual; it reflects the vision, mission and social commitments of a school. It sets the tone for the day, uniting us all as one family and instilling discipline, positivity, and a sense of purpose”.
