The primary focus of the patrolling was to review the security and border management grid across several villages situated along the Chicken Neck Border. These included Gardkhal, Malabella, Sohan, and Kanachak, areas that are strategically significant for border security.
In addition to assessing the security framework, the team took the opportunity to meet with local residents to improve police-public coordination and to discuss the importance of timely information sharing with the police.
The authorities emphasized the role of the local community in maintaining vigilance and fostering better communication to enhance the overall security in the region.
The patrolling team also conducted checks on critical Nallahs, rivers, canals, and Sua, which are vital for monitoring cross-border movement and ensuring that no illegal activities are taking place in these water bodies and natural barriers.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the security apparatus and maintain a strong border management system, especially in sensitive areas like the Pargwal sector along the Indo-Pak boundary.
